The annual West Farmington Festival will start this Thursday July 24 at 1:00pm and conclude Saturday at 9:00pm. This event is filled with a lot of fun activities that im sure you will enjoy. The times of the events should appear on the left hand side of the website in our calendar of events area. The activities for each day should be posted on the website before the festival begins. Hope to see you there!

Officer Joshua Miktarian (Video)

TWINSBURG -- The City of Twinsburg today released the police radio dispatch tapes from the traffic stop that led to the fatal shooting of Officer Josh Miktarian.

Miktarian, 33, stopped a driver for for loud music and suspicion of DUI just before 2 a.m. Sunday on Glenwood drive.Officer Joshua Miktarian killed in the line of duty.

At approximately, 1:54 a.m. Officer Miktarian, calls in the license plate of the car. Moments later he asks for a second unit to be sent to the location.

That is the last time Miktarian's voice is heard on the tape. What follows is an agonizing exchange as fellow law enforcement officers and dispatchers try to re-establish contact with Miktarian.
